About Our Farm

Lake Holm Lavender LLC is a private five acre farm located just SE of Auburn, WA.  We grow 3,000 lavender plants from 9 different cultivars representing a range of colors, sizes, and uses. Our farm is not open to the public due to community covenant protections, so please see our “Connect with Us” and “Shop” pages for product availability and information. We offer fresh and dried lavender flower bundles, lavender bouquets in a variety of containers, lavender essential oil and hydrosol, lavender sachets and warming pillows, essential oil reed diffusers and candles, culinary lavender and tea blends, and lavender handicrafts such as wands and wreaths. If you have a special event coming up and would like to incorporate lavender, or if you are crafting products of your own and need supply, please ask us about placing a bulk order.  Thank you for your interest in our lavender and for your valuable business.  We hope that our lavender gives you as much enjoyment as nurturing the farm gives to us!

Help! How do I care for my own Lavender Plant?

For every farm you visit you’ll find a farmer with their own advice, here is ours!

Lavender is a robust, happy plant provided that you give it some basic care. These guidelines are general and you should take into account your growing region as well as what other types of plants you might have near lavender that might have differing needs. Have fun!

  1. Full Sun! Lavender will soak it up
  2. Well draining soil, lavender does not like to be wet
  3. Soil Ph around 6.5 – 7.0, get soil testing through resources such as King Conservation District
  4. Minimal watering, in some regions rainwater is all you need
  5. Prune, prune, prune!! The more you prune it, the more it likes it
  6. No need for fertilizers or mulch, generally speaking these may work against you
